❤️My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me. A must-have for any dark ambient fan's collection.

This album is a somber, suffocating, menacing masterpiece of shadows. Feels like being lost in the black caverns underneath an abandoned chapel, following miles of bleak, darkened tunnels that emerge at the edge of bottomless pits. Serves to enhance your dread of the despair waiting around each corner while also strengthening your resolve to face it with a sneer.

The only way this artist does not release on Cryo Chamber is because this artist does not want to share revenue from their beautifully evocative art.
